BIPOC actors given preference
James Gently
Voice Characteristics #1: Male presenting, ditzy, sleepy, slow Liverpudlian speech in the style of Ringo Starr, no preference given for agedness of voice
Voice Characteristics #2: Male presenting, overconfident, brash, fraternity president or head salesman style voice, youthful (18-35)

James is a man in his 30s. He is pretentious, flighty, and kind of dumb. He refers to himself as a “committed anglophile” and sports an obvious Liverpudlian affectation. He models himself after a British Invasion era pop star, fully convinced he was a big deal while alive, but can sometimes forget his put-upon identity. He often seems to stumble back onto the person he’s pretending to be in the middle of a thought.
